Each episode of History on Fire takes 100 to 200 hours to build. Members keep the show alive and unlock bonus episodes, mini-deep-dives, and the running archive.
- Bonus mini-episodes — short, weird, and free-roaming sidequests no public feed gets.
- Members-only deep dives — duels, mobsters, ancient weirdness; topics Daniele can't fit into the main feed.
- Keep the show on fire — direct support means more episodes, more research, more obscure history.

About the show
A note from Daniele
Daniele Bolelli is an author, university professor, podcaster, and martial artist. His weekly deep dives chase the wildest, most intense moments in human history — duels and slave revolts, samurai vendettas, plagues, frontier preachers, and the kind of stories most history shows are too tidy to tell.
Each episode is a research project unto itself. Sources are hunted, contradictions stress-tested, the narrative built scene by scene. The result is a show that reads like a novel and footnotes like a thesis — slow when it needs to be, fast when the smoke clears, always trying to keep the dead from being polite about it.
This site is the new home base for the show: free episodes, member-only deep cuts, an archive that grows with every release. If you want the bonus material, mini-episodes, and the back catalog of paid drops, the membership is right above.
